About Star Of India

Soft lighting and warm hues set a calm mood before the first bite at Star Of India. The aromatic spices hint at the diverse influences behind the dishes, where traditional recipes meet subtle contemporary tweaks. While some diners arrive curious about the most recommended plates, others explore the full menu inspired by vibrant photos often shared online. The balance between hearty curries and lighter options reflects a kitchen aware of contrasting tastes, though certain flavors occasionally lean toward the familiar rather than pushing boundaries.

Conversations around the table flow easily, supported by attentive yet unobtrusive service that seems well trained without feeling rehearsed. Patrons consulting reviews are likely drawn by the consistency noted in multiple visits, an aspect not always guaranteed in busy urban settings. Alongside popular choices like butter chicken or biryani, the sides and breads deserve their own attention, often overlooked but essential in completing the experience. Ambience and acoustics favor relaxed dining, though the space can feel slightly compact when crowded, which might influence longer stays or intimate encounters.

Quality ingredients surface clearly in dishes that arrive with colors as rich as in the photos that attract first-time guests to this Indian restaurant. The pricing holds up reasonably against neighborhood expectations, even if the occasional dish could benefit from a modest refinement in seasoning. Star Of India’s appeal lies as much in the comforting familiarity it offers as in the occasional discovery peppered through its evolving suggestions. Such nuances in the dining journey help explain why the restaurant maintains steady interest among locals and travelers alike.

Good place to dine in a cosy environment, spacious. The staff is super nice with both Indian and Belgian team members. Takeaways get you a ten percent discount on the menu price. It's super to to the Liege station and a 5 min walk from hotels near the Liege station. Chola masala , yellow daal and mutton biryani plus the super crip butter that I tried very all beyond expectations. Ask them to spice it up a bit if you are visiting from India and they happily oblige

We had a great diner with tandori chicken, chicken tika masala and chicken curry. The portions where plenty. The taste was fantastic and my daughters liked it very, very much (which says something). The restaurant looks nice and clean. It was very busy and they had some trouble keeping up but we weren't in a hurry. When we got the bill, my review upgraded from a 4 star to a 5 star. 60 euro for a very nice diner with 3. Would eat there again!

We drove for 40 minutes to this restaurant as the Birthday Girl in our group wanted curry, Liege was only place with Indian food advertised, we were not disappointed. Lovely food and good service. The waiter was very helpful with great English. Thank you.
